Johnny Tremain

Johnny Tremain - Esther Forbes, Lynd Ward I read this book in the fifth grade, and I remember it making a big impression on me! I was terrified by what happened to Johnny's hand, and I loved the story about the Revolutionary war. I can't say that I remember much of what I read for school, but this one has always stuck in my head. Recommended for younger readers!
